TITAL GmbH is a manufacturer of advanced investment casting products made of titanium and aluminum alloys. The company is headquartered in Bestwig (Sauerland) and was majority-owned by Honsel AG until 2006. At the end of 2014, the company was acquired by the US aluminum manufacturer Alcoa. Alcoa split in 2016, after which Tital became part of Arconic. In 2020, Arconic also split, meaning that Tital has belonged to Howmet Aerospace since April 1, 2020. Tital, as part of Howmet Aerospace, supplies aluminum and titanium investment casting components for aerospace parts used in F-35 fighter aircraft delivered to Israel.
