Additional Details

Doosan Group is a South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation. In 2009, the corporation was placed in the Fortune Global 500 index. It is the parent company of Bobcat and Škoda Power. Doosan Group is the oldest running company in South Korea and was ranked as one of the world's top 10 largest heavy equipment manufacturers in 2018. Bobcat Company is an American-based manufacturer of farm and construction equipment. Its American headquarters is in West Fargo, North Dakota, formerly in Gwinner, North Dakota. Its European headquarters moved in 2017 from Waterloo, Belgium, to Dobříš, Czech Republic (where Bobcat operates one of its European manufacturing plants). It was a subsidiary of the Ingersoll Rand Company from 1995 until July 2007, when it was sold for US$4.9 billion to South Korean company Doosan Infracore The Israeli military has used Bobcat skid steer loaders as part of its 2023-2025 genocidal war on Gaza. The military’s Combat Engineering Corps has been using remotely-controlled Bobcat loaders as part of its illegal policy of flattening entire residential neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip to render them unlivable, so that displaced Palestinians would not be able to return. Similarly, the Israeli military used Bobcat loaders as part of its large-scale attacks on three refugee camps in the occupied West Bank in January-March 2025 (Operation “Iron Wall”). A remote-controlled Bobcat loader was documented in Jenin, working alongside other military heavy machinery. By mid-March, these attacks have killed almost 70 Palestinians and forcibly displaced more than 40,000. The Israeli military has been using Bobcat-based remotely-controlled and autonomous loaders at least since 2007. In 2014, Israel Aerospace Industries unveiled the Sahar, a Bobcat loader converted into an autonomous explosive ordnance disposal system. A newer version of the Sahar, unveiled in 2018, is no longer based on a Bobcat vehicle. In the past, Bobcat loaders were also documented by Who Profits being used in construction and infrastructure projects in Israel’s illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, as well as construction of the West Bank separation wall and military checkpoints. The Israeli Police has six remote-controlled mini excavators based on the Bobcat 334, which it uses for explosive ordnance disposal. -- Listed on KRX (000150), Doosan is backed by leading sovereign wealth funds, most notably NBIM and NPS .
