Valero Energy Corporation is an American-based fuels producer primarily involved in manufacturing and marketing transportation fuels and related products. Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, the company owns and operates 14 refineries across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, with a combined throughput capacity of approximately 3.2 million barrels per day. It is on the Pentagon’s “Top 100” suppliers list and supplies jet and diesel fuel to the U.S. military. Valero has been a long-time, key supplier of JP-8 jet fuel to Israel.
