Jumbo is a supermarket chain in the Netherlands and Belgium. It is part of the privately owned Van Eerd Group. Jumbo is the second-largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands, behind Albert Heijn. The chain sells Israeli goods and products, including fruits, vegetables, and canned food, some of which reportedly originate from settlements in the West Bank. This continues despite Jumbo's denial of selling products from West Bank settlements and its confirmation that it will continue selling Israeli products, defying widespread criticism regarding the gaza genodcie and warnings that these funds support the military, sustaining ongoing aggression. Among these products are avocados and dates. Israel is reportedly working on changing the origin labels of products coming from the West Bank, presenting them as if they were grown in other areas within Israel or Palestine, in order to bypass international restrictions on these goods.
